All were equally beautiful. It could have been any one of them and would not have made a bit of difference. donchathink?
well i was glad that an asian woman won..but i thoguth her answer to the question wasnt as good as brazils answer..but i think she was really pretty..and the judges obviously thought so too but it hink people around the world should get to vote who they want for miss universe not only the judges...
I feel happy that people's outlook on beauty is progressively moving away from only one type. After all, this is Miss UNIVERSE - which is SUPPOSED to be a competition for diversity! In the past, the majority of winners have been White or Latina, but barely Asian or African. It's a great %26amp; fresh change, and Japan had such a cute personality :)





For all of you who think this competition is solely based on looks, think again. It's not about who's the ';hottest'; girl in the bunch - it's who's the most well rounded girl and the one who seems extra special - although some of the other contestants were prettier than Japan, you could tell by her body language that she was very happy and comfortable in her own skin. That's what probably won the judges over.
Miss Universe is still on? Wow!

I never watch it, I think it's boring. But after a review of the photos, I thought Miss Bolivia, Brazil %26amp; Paraguay were the top 3. A latina sweep!
well usa did have that huge fall, i actually really wanted brazil to win she was really confident and pretty, japan wasn't that great, i don't know why she won.
Though I felt horrified for Miss USA when she felt down, I also had to laugh a little. I mean, here are all these woman parading around like they're the queens of the universe. It was kind of funny to be honest to see that woman fall down. It was like - ya, you're a real person. You're not perfect. I think the Miss Universe contest, like the Miss America contest, is pretty stupid. You don't see men getting up there and doing all this crap. They don't try on different outfits, show of their bodies, prance around and let everyone have a look at them as if they were a car for sale or a product to be scrutinized and judged. I have to say, in that way men are a hell of a lot smarter than women. They don't buy into that crap. But women always want to be the prettiest, they want to be adored, be the MOST beautiful. C'mon. Grow up :)





As for how it reflected on the U.S., that was kind of funny as well. The U.S. has obviously been taking quite a beating ever since the war started and I'm sure there were a ton of people who were happy to see Miss USA fall. It was symbolic for them.
