Should beauty therapists be allowed to give botox injections ?

NOShould beauty therapists be allowed to give botox injections ?
If you are referring to a licensed Esthetician, then no. Absolutely not. As a licensed esthetician in the state of Illinois (where I have my license) you are not allowed to use any kind of needle on the skin.

Nevertheless, a lot of private practices involving non-abrasive procedures like botox, laser, ect. most doctors have the nurses or estheticians work on patient's. The doctor could lose his medical license and practice.

When I was in Esthetics training, my instructor worked in a medi-spa for over 8 months and never met the doctor who owned the spa once. She actually learned a lot.

This doesn't make it bad, like I said it happens all over. Should beauty therapists be allowed to give botox injections ?
Yes providing they have done exclusive training for this. I am a trained Mental heath nurse with little general experience and with a professional 2 day course in Venepuncture, I was qualified to be a blood taker. With correct training professional interventions such as Botox can be done by a Beauty therapist. x
i dont see why not

answer mine?
