Whats your favorite beauty tip that you stick with?

Mine is Bag Balm. Sure it is formulated for cow udders but it has become my miracle cream. No more chapped lips. My feet are softer than a baby's butt. And I no longer need to spend $80+ on prescriptions for eczema when Bag Balm makes the rashes disappear in a day. =)

$6 at DrugStore.com. =D

What is your ultimate beauty tip?Whats your favorite beauty tip that you stick with?
I have a few

-i tame my eyebrows with some hairspray on a toothbrush

-tea tree oil or toothpaste or crushed aspirin mixed with a little water to form a paste on zits (they really work!)

-If I'm out of eye makeup remover, olive oil or baby oil works greatWhats your favorite beauty tip that you stick with?
Toothpaste on zits. Put it on before you go to bed, and the zit is gone in the morning.
Never go out of the house with my hair down! I use Vaseline on my lips instead of lip balm, it actually works great! I try not to put too many hair products into my hair, 'cause I know that tomorrow morning I will look like heaven knows what. My dad will only let me take a shower every 3rd day, much to my not-liking.
Never use petro-chemicals on my body.

most creams contain phthalates:

';sources. Studies in animals and people have linked phthalates to serious health problems.

In animal studies, phthalates cause an array of reproductive problems in male offspring, including small or otherwise abnormal testes, hypospadias (abnormal urinary openings), and undescended testes. In studies on people, boys born to mothers with greater exposure had altered genital development.

Phthalates may also cause asthma as well as liver and kidney damage.';

';Phthalates are often used in cosmetics and personal care products to carry fragrances. Under current law, they can then simply be labeled “fragrance,” even though they may make up 20% or more of the product.

On some products, ingredients are listed, but the chemical names or acryonyms can be confusing. Use the list below to identify phthalates:

DEHP

or di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate

or Bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate

BzBP

or benzylbutyl phthalate

DBP

or di-n-butyl phthalate

DEP

or diethyl phthalate

DMP

or dimethyl phthalate

There, now you can avoid phthalates, too.
